The confusion is that I had a much older RSS feed URI (from days many many years ago when it was Blogger powered), which was no longer working - because in the redesign/rebuild I'd dropped some Apache redirects. Anyone who added a feed in recent years would have got the correct link. Redirect now in place (for legacy purposes). You’re right, Martin, and mystery now solved.
