SXSW 2007 - Accessified Presentation

Just a quick note to say that we’ll be getting the slides up from yesterday’s presentation as soon as possible. The location is here (for those who may have missed the note on the final slide). In the meantime, some of the demos are available on YouTube (but obviously minus the commentary).

If you were there and have any feedback, we’d love to hear what you thought of it. 25 minutes was definitely not enough time to cover anything (and we had to cut a lot).

Update: the transcript for this session is now available.

  1. So says David Mead

    Hi Ian,

Thanks again for the presentation you and Patrick gave. It was one of the very few “practical” ones I saw, so I’m really glad you have made available the other videos on YouTube. 25 minutes just wasn’t long enough.

I did speak to you afterwards and just to let you know you can get Graybit to run through the Web Developer Toolbar by going to options > tools > add and pasting http://graybit.com/files/graybit.php?url= in the space provided. That way you can assign a keyboard shortcut and test any site your on.

Good to see you and the British Booze-up as well.

  2. So says Ian Lloyd

David, thanks for that - I’ve never tried customising (beyond adding screen sizes for the resize tool). Glad you found the presentation useful. If only we had had more time to show more …
